The Committee was a San Francisco-based improvisational comedy group that ran from 1963 to 1972. During its heyday, a revolving group of players every week presented multiple performances of satirical political comedy. In the late 1960s, a second company was formed in Los Angeles and members of The Committee were often seen weaving in and out of the “Smother Brothers Comedy Hour.”

This video is a manic satire on film credits created by The Committee in 1965. Except for brief parts at the beginning and end, the entire film displays credits for every conceivable participant involved in the film’s creation, all superimposed over dramatic and completely unrelated sequences. Runs 8 min 36 seconds.
Directed by Alan Myerson, with Garry Goodrow and Jessica Myerson as the cheating lovers and Larry Hankin as the murdered husband. Edited and produced by John Magnuson who produced Lenny Bruce’s animated short Thank You Mask Man.
